Tim Hortons Nation
This blog’s in hibernation mode until I get my book done, but couldn’t resist stopping in to talk about coffee and donuts…
This story on a recent survey on Canadians’ taste for Tim Hortons is interesting and is probably something that’s bound to come up in this fall’s freshman seminar “From Pucks to Parliament: Exploring Canadian Culture.”
Now, if only I could convince someone in Vermont to open a Tim Hortons, something I promise to do if I ever win the lottery.

Well, i hope you win the lottery pwmartin. My first time here and hope to know more about this coming from you.
I was recently at a comedy show where about half the audience put up their hands in answering the question: “who will admit they are addicted to Timmy’s coffee?”
The other half of the audience just wouldn’t admit it…
I was at that comedy show and my hand was raised too. LOL. I’m a pepsi and donuts guy.
Tim Horton’s is one of a kind. It speaks to the Canadian culture and cannot be replicated by the US.
I used to live in Michigan which has Tim Hortons, but they do not have them anywhere close to where I live now. Ohhhh how I miss it!
omg…. I’m shocked that there are no Tim Hortons in Vermont and yet there are 3 here in southern West Virginia?! I frequently head there when I get nostalgic for coffee, dounts and Winnipeg’s -30C weather 😉
